St. Gabriel General Hospital PVT.LTD.Co is hiring a Chief Accountant in Addis Ababa. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and between five and eight years of experience. Applications close on 25 October 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency with accounting software like CNET, Peachtree, Revenue online tax filing and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
Nice to have
- Manage and supervise the accounting department and accounting staff.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the accounting department and accounting staff.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
Skills
- Bookkeeping through Excel or TurboTax
- Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS and ERP
- Basic Accounting Knowledge
- Accounting, Finance or a related field; an MA/MSc
