AL – ALSA Trading PLC is hiring a Purchasing/Procurement in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience. Applications close on 29 October 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Purchasing/Procurement & Supplies Management/Accounting or related field.
- Diving license
- Strong understanding of Purchasing principles and processes
- Experience with Purchasing systems
Nice to have
- Analytical and have the ability to solve purchasing and inventory related problems
- Strong data entry skills
Main responsibilities
- Raise Purchase Orders in line with business rules
- Ensure Purchase Orders are approved in line with business rules
- Receipt Purchase Order based on an approved goods receipt note/delivery documents.
- Request credit notes from suppliers and send to Accounts Payable for processing
- Establish sound relationships with suppliers, ensure lead times are met and expedite outstanding orders
- Drive continues improvement across Purchasing process
