Private Companyy is hiring two senior import/export officers in Addis Ababa. The role asks for a bachelor's degree in logistics & supply chain management or international trade and at least eight years of experience. Applications close on 11 November 2026.
Requirements
- At least 4–5 years leading coffee export operations
- Deep mastery of NBE foreign currency directives
- Thorough expertise in preparing L/C, CAD, Bills of Lading, ICO Origin Certificates
- Practical knowledge of the Djibouti port ecosystem
- ERP systems, Ethiopian Single Window (ESW) platform, and advanced MS Excel
- Professional working proficiency in English
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate coffee export processes from supplier sourcing and product preparation through shipment execution
- Coordinate export documentation according to the coffee type, destination market, buyer requirements
- Coordinate container availability, loading plans, shipping instructions, export declarations, and transport documentation
- Monitor international coffee market quotations, buyer requirements, freight costs, and export shipment performance
- Maintain traceability records and documentation for green coffee and, where applicable, roasted coffee
- Direct coffee quality evaluation workflows with the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA)
