Gudina Tumsa Foundation is hiring a Human Resources Manager in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or Management and between five and eight years of experience. Applications close on 31 October 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in human resources.
• Experience working in an international NGO or business is required.
• Complete fluency in English and Amharic is required.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR systems.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management , Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and implement GTF's HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for staff and consultants.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
• Develop and support staff performance management and appraisal systems.
• Coordinate staff training, professional development, and capacity‑building activities.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain relevant HR documentation.
