Acme Engineering & Trading PLC is an Electromechanical Contractor and Supplier Company working on Energy, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems and Engineering / Scientific Laboratory Equipment. Our Company undertakes turn-key projects and supply of products. We are now looking for a competent professional committed to work in a team environment. IMMEDIATE VACANCY Position: Sales Engineer Key Responsibilities: • Identify potential product distribution agents, retail agents, and end customers; develop and maintain strong relationships, and understand their needs to provide tailored solutions. • Stay up-to-date with product developments and market trends, especially knowledge on solar home systems and solar productive use appliances • Conduct regular visits to customers, keep records, and compile reports, which include detailed analysis of sales activities • Conduct training on the use and care of products as well as environmental protection issues in connection with product usage to distributors and end-users. • Ensure that all sales targets are met or exceeded • Be willing to travel frequently outside Addis Ababa to reach rural off-grid Place of Work: Addis Ababa, with frequent travel Salary: As per Company Salary Scale Employment Term: Permanent Applicants shall send their applications with relevant credentials via e-mail at [email protected] |

Qualification & Experience:
• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing. Other Skills: • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint computer applications as appropriate • Ability to work with minimal supervision while also being a team player • Professional certification in sales and marketing is an advantage |
