We import and distribute high-quality Veterinary Medicines, Herbicides (Weed Control), and Coffee Processing Mesh. We are seeking a highly resourceful, well-connected, and experienced Senior Purchasing and Supply Officer to spearhead our domestic procurement operations, manage local supplier networks, and optimize internal supply chain logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute local procurement: Source, evaluate, and purchase domestic goods, operational supplies, and services required for the head office and processing facilities.

• Build domestic vendor networks: Identify, vet, and maintain relationships with reliable local manufacturers, distributors, and service providers.

• Negotiate commercial terms: Secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and strict quality assurances with local suppliers.

• Manage logistics: Coordinate transport, delivery schedules, and domestic distribution lines from local suppliers to company warehouses.

• Oversee inventory tracking: Work closely with warehouse teams to monitor local stock levels and prevent supply deficits.

• Ensure financial compliance: Prepare purchase orders, compile local market price assessments, and manage proforma invoices for timely financial reconciliation.

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA Degree in Supply Chain Management , Logistics and Supplies Management , Procurement and Supply management , Business Administration , or a related field.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of solid experience specializing in local/domestic procurement within Ethiopia (experience in commercial or trading sectors is highly preferred).

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of the local Ethiopian market, strong sourcing capabilities, tender document preparation and proficiency in Excel procurement ERP software, electronics Purchase

Core Competencies:

• Elite negotiation skills, high integrity, sharp mathematical accuracy, and an ability to navigate local business networks efficiently.
