Joel Pharmaceutical Wholesale PLC is hiring a Technical Manager in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and three to five years of experience. Applications close on 26 November 2026.

Requirements

• Valid professional licence and registration with the relevant Ethiopian regulatory body.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience , in accordance with applicable EFDA requirements.
• Sound knowledge of EFDA regulations, pharmaceutical quality assurance, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Good Storage Practice (GSP).
• Strong skills in inventory management, documentation, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.
• Supervise and train staff on pharmaceutical handling, storage, and quality standards.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EFDA regulations and applicable pharmaceutical laws.
• Oversee medicine procurement, quality assurance, storage, inventory, and distribution.
• Ensure proper documentation, product traceability, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage product complaints, recalls, adverse event reporting, and disposal of expired or damaged medicines.
• Supervise and train staff on pharmaceutical handling, storage, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper control and security of narcotic and psychotropic medicines, where applicable.
